I think finding the right therapist can feel a lot like online dating - wading through a sea of bios, trying to find the right fit for your therapeutic journey. There are plenty of skilled therapists out there, and we all have something different to offer. You’re right to invest this time and energy to find a therapist that fits your needs. It’s important. Studies show that a strong client-therapist relationship improves therapy outcomes by up to 30%. So, keep reading to decide if we might be a “therapeutic match.”

Interests & Expertise I am dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges and embrace self-discovery. I love working with people from all walks of life and I’m open to tackling a variety of challenges and goals. My experience is in couples and relationships, parenting support, and individual challenges (i.e. grief and loss, divorce, postpartum, phobias, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress).

I am committed to continuous learning, particularly in the areas of the mind-body connection, neuroscience, and all things mental health. This drive allows me to continually expand my skill set and knowledge, providing a wide range of resources to support my clients.

Couples/Relationship Work As humans, we are biologically wired for connection, and we are each deeply affected by those around us. One of my passions is working with people who are experiencing challenges, complications, or roadblocks in their relationships. Whether you are navigating the complexities of a romantic relationship, familial bonds, or friendships, I am here to help.

Training & Qualifications I hold a Master’s degree with a focus on adult learning, and as well as a Master’s in counselling psychology. Additionally, I began as a respiratory therapist. With 20 years’ experience in healthcare and education, I bring a diverse background to my work as a psychotherapist. I’ve worked in hospitals, homes, and classrooms, learning to understand and adapt to different cultures. I’ve also trained healthcare teams internationally and managed hospital operations abroad. Now, as a psychotherapist, I blend my clinical skills with cultural awareness to better support my clients.
